About David Elliott
David Elliott, PharmD, is Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Associate Chair of Clinical Pharmacy for the Charleston Campus of the West Virginia University (WVU) School of Pharmacy.
Dr. Elliott practices, teaches, and conducts research in geriatrics. His areas of particular interest include geriatric ambulatory care, transitional care management, and optimizing medication use for older adults.
Dr. Elliott is the pharmacist in the Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) Medicine Clinic and is the Program Director of the CAMC/WVU PGY2 Geriatric Pharmacy Residency.
Dr. Elliott is a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (BCGP) and a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (FCCP), the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (FASCP), and the American Geriatrics Society (AGSF). He is a member of the Amiercan Geriatrics Society Clinical Practice and Models of Care Committee and the Professional Education Executive Committee and is active in the West Virginia Geriatrics Society (WVGS) with service that has included the Board of Directors and Presidency. He is a Senior Associate Editor of the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy.
