Dr. Dobranski grew up in Montreal, Canada studying in both French and English. Growing up, he played hockey and football. During his college years, he continued to play football and also bartended at the famous Cheers (Canada). His love of Medicine came from his Grandfather who was the first cardiologist in the province of Quebec to perform an EKG. He came to West Virginia for residency and has never left. He has been married for 10 years and has 2 daughters. His claim to fame is that he believes he is the first French Canadian emergency physician in West Virginia.
