Dr. Kendra Unger has mentorship strengths in integrative medicine, acupuncture, chronic pain, physician wellness, and outpatient care.

Dr. Kendra Unger received her bachelor’s degree in both Pre-Med and Secondary Education from Concord University.  She went on to complete her medical degree and residency at WVU, specializing in Family Medicine. Dr. Unger is a Board Certified Medical Acupuncturist and integrates this into her practice. Dr. Unger is the 3^rd Year Medical School Clerkship Director.

What do you love about WV? The people and the place both are beautiful.

Why you chose Family Medicine/Specific Specialty? Family Medicine allows me to work with people of all ages and backgrounds. I get to care for the whole person not just a particular disease process. I love taking care of the whole family. It also allows me to practice in various settings.

Hobbies or fun facts? Quilt maker like my grandmother, really enjoys.
