Why WVU: I wanted a program director who would fiercely guard and nurture my intellectual curiosity and innate empathy and I found that in Dr. Kohli. The rapport that we have with our faculty here is unparalleled. It feels so special to be able to hash out challenging cases with attendings who are examiners for the American Board of Anesthesiology in such a kind, warm, and uplifting space. It is a privilege to be able to laugh wholeheartedly, and so often, with my co-residents who feel much more like my family.
