Hobbies: Spending time with my husband and daughter, thrift shopping, enjoying all the yummy coffee/food spots in Morgantown.

Favorite things to do in Morgantown: There are so many family friendly spots in Morgantown, including both outdoor and indoor pools, splash pads, and many playgrounds. For date nights, there are several local restaurants (Black Bear is our favorite!), hiking/walking trails, concerts or a quick trip to Pittsburgh for bigger name artists/ major sports.

Why WVU: The strong clinical training and the people! I intend on going into general practice and wanted training that would grow me into a confident and compassionate Anesthesiologist. As a medical student here, I was able to see many facets of the residents training including how the residents and faculty worked together in moments of stress. My husband was also established in his career in Morgantown and we knew we wanted to start a family and stay close to grandparents, so it was an easy choice! Also I truly believe we have the best program director in the country.
