About Erica Webster
I grew up in Northern Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C., and completed my undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech in 2018 with a dual degree in Clinical Neuroscience and Spanish. I earned my medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and subsequently completed a preliminary year in general surgery. In 2023, I moved to Morgantown to start residency and have enjoyed getting to explore the town and surrounding areas. I chose WVU because I was drawn to the opportunity to serve the rural and underserved population of West Virginia and was excited by the research and mentorship opportunities provided by the program. My clinical and academic interests include neurotrauma and neurocritical care, and I plan to complete the neurocritical care fellowship at WVU during my fourth year of residency.
