Jody Goard, DNP, APRN earned a BSN and MSN from West Virginia University and a DNP from Walden University. More recently, she obtained a post-master's certificate in adult-gerontology acute care from the University of Pennsylvania. She has been an assistant clinical professor at West Virginia University School of Nursing since 2017. Dr. Goard developed and wrote curriculum for the first adult-gerontology nurse practitioner program in the State of West Virginia. This post-master's program accepted its first cohort in August 2020 under the leadership of Dr. Goard.
