About Marian Longstreth
Served in nursing for over 33 years and is an expert in providing cutting-edge intensive critical care and advanced trauma skills. Specialized in the Surgical Intensive Care Trauma Unit and also the Medical and Neuro Critical Care Intensive Care Units. Serves as WVU Medicine Hospital STAT and Code Team and Rapid Response Nurse (RRT). Board member on the WVU Medicine Critical Care and Trauma Institute ICU Steering Team Committee. Currently on the Shared Governance Resource Pool Research Committee as Chairperson and Chair of the WVU Medicine Nursing and Evidence-Based Practice Research Council. Member of the WVU Medicine Transition to Practice Nurse Residency Advisory Executive Council. Expert in ultrasound-guided peripheral intravenous (PIV) accessing and STAT nurse responding to all CODE Blue pages, Trauma-Priority 1, Stroke, and Critical Care Transport pages.
