About Anthony Realini
Anthony Realini, M.D., MPH, is an ophthalmologist who specializes in the treatment of glaucoma.
Dr. Realini joined the WVU Eye Institute and the WVU Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences faculty in 2003. He serves as a professor and the vice chair for clinical research. He also serves as a member of the consulting staff at the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Administration Hospital located in Clarksburg, W.Va.
He completed the Glaucoma Fellowship Program at the University of Louisville in 1998. He completed the Ophthalmology Residency Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1997 where he also completed his internship in 1994 and earned his medical degree in 1993. Realini also received his master’s degree in public health from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010. He is board-certified in ophthalmology.
